Jackson - Similar outcome but judges acknowledged how PS may possess it’s limits

P agreed to limit its own sovereignty by accepting supremacy of EU law in certain areas (Factortame)

Court’s must interpret acts in line with the HRA, if they can’t, they issue a “declaration of incompatibility” to give notice to Parliament

P agreed to delegate power to devolved governments, limiting their ability to legislate in devolved matters

Court hinted to the chance of judicial intervention in matters involving parliamentary procedure. Court was willing to examine the legality of the procedure and not immediately accept PS to be absolute, showing the growing role of the judiciary in questioning PS
