Nicholas melton , vicor of church at Louth , gentry and Jps and monks from Lincolnshire abbeys .
Give at least three reasons of the seriousness of the Lincolnshire rebellion
Numbers gained to 10,000 men , local nobility fled, support of religious figures (church normally help to keep order) , speed to which the rebellion took place, also in contact with rebels from Yorkshire increased threat in government
Give at least 3 reasons why rebellion was not as serious
Very quickly put down , leadership of gentry half hearted and no nobility joined , no risk of a battle , rebels loyal to Henry and did not wish to challenge his rule
