MERIDIAN
Linya na nagsisimula mula sa Hilagang Pole at pataas hanggang sa Timog Pole (line that starts from North Pole and goes up until the South Pole)
LATTITUDE LINES
Ang linya mula Kanluran patungong Silangan ay tinatawag na parallel (the line from west to east is called latitudinal lines).

Isang haka-haka na linya sa paligid ng gitna ng mundo (an imaginary line around the center of the world) at nasa kalagitnaan ng pagitan ng Hilaga at Timog na Pole (and is halfway between North and South pole).
