Colloquialism
Informal or conversational language

Oxymoron
Rhetorical term describing words or phrases that create paradoxes or contradictions when together

Rhyme Scheme

Dactylic hexameter
In dactyl, we put stress on the first syllable, and do not stress the second and third syllables.

An extended comparison – often 4 to 6 lines – of two unlike things using like or as works as an analogy, helping the reader better understand or imagine a character or action by comparing it to a natural event
