Setting

Plot (Initial Situation)
Circumstances at the beginning of the story.

Incident which starts the main conflict.
Plot (Rising Action)
Incidents building towards the climax.

High point of interest in the story.
Plot (Turning Point)
When things change after the climax leading to the falling action.

The final incident or comment which explains the message of the story or the ending.

The main character in the story.
Antagonist
The opponent of the main character.

Relating to the mind.

Relating to the principles of right and wrong.

Related to the mood.
Conflict (Person vs Person)
A character in conflict with another character.

A character in conflict with an element of nature.

The feeling experienced by the readers.
Atmosphere
The feeling or mood created and experienced by its readers.

The narrator is a character in the story.
Point of view (Third Person)
The narrator is someone outside of the story.
Point of view (Third person omniscient)
The narrator is able to share the thoughts and feelings of all characters.
