Visceral Relations of caudate lobe?
Caudate lobe lies in superior recess of lesser sac
→ related to: 1) crura of diaphragm 2) right inferior phrenic artery 3)coeliac trunk
Relations of quadrate lobe?
Right - gall bladder
Left - ligamentum teres
Inferior - porta hepatic
Anterior - inferior border
- lesser omentum
- pylorus
- 1st part of duodenum
Relations of caudate lobe
Right - IVC
Left - ligamentum venosum
Superior - continuous with superior surface
Inferior - porta hepatic
Sharp anterior part have 2 notches:
(I) interlober notch - ligamentum teres
(II) cystic notch: gall bladder
Impressions location?
Oesophageal impression - post side left lobe
Gastric impression- inferior side left lobe
Colic impression - right side of gall bladder→ hepatic flexure f colon
Renal 2 duodenal impression - inferior surface
