Why is liturgical worship important to Christian’s?

Why is infant baptism important to Christian’s?
- welcomes babies into the Christian community - shows the child is loved and accepted by the church at the very start of their life
- washes away original sin - important as Christian’s believe baptism cleanses the child spiritually and helps to become a part of gods family
Why is believers baptism important to Christian’s?
- shows a persons own decision to follow Jesus - proves that the person understands their faith and wants to publicly commit to it
- Because Jesus himself had a believers baptism - shows Christians that baptism is a key part of following Jesus’ example
