A

Refers to how the child or adult develops as a whole being. All aspects of development are happening at the same time and do not occur in isolation. You often need a physical skill to be able to access emotional and cognitive skills

What is self image?

A

Self image is the mental picture we have of ourselves. Some people see themselves in a positive light, for example, intelligent, attractive and talented, whereas some people may see only negatives in themselves.

A

Self-esteem is about how much you like and accept yourself- this is often talked about in terms of how much you value yourself.

Feeling safe. Trusting others to look after you

This is when we learn the norm, values and behaviour that makes us part of a particular group. We learn these from the people around us and what we see
