What is prejudice
Negative attitude towards an individual/group based on ill informed opinions or inaccurate information
Patronising meaning
Speaking towards someone as if they are stupid enough r not important
What is labelling
Identify people negatively as part of a particular group and so jumping to conclusions about them
How can discrimination impact the individual
Mental health issues
They may feel less valued
Insecure about socialising
Actions to take as a result of discriminatory practices

Go to an advocacy helpline to get advice and support (mind age uk)
