Q

A:- The centripetal force should not be regarded as yet another kind of force.
R:- In the second law of motion F=ma, F stands for the net force due to all material agencies external to the body, a is the effect of the force, ma should not be regarded as yet another force, besides F.

Q

A:- A book at rest on a horizontal surface of table. It is subject to two external forces: the force due to gravity (i.e. it’s weight W) acting downwards and the upward force on the book by the table, the normal force R, R is self adjusting force.
R:- since W=R, forces cancal and therefore, the book is at rest.

A

(3)

Kyuki W=R balance hai psr fir bhi book ki gati ho sakti hai

Q

A:- An animate object such as human also requires an external force to accelerate.
R:- For applying the 2nd law of motion, there is no conceptual distinction between inanimate and animate objects.

Q

A:- In uniform circular motion centripetal force is balanced by centrifugal force.
R:- In circular motion centripetal force act radially inward and centrifugal act radially outward in equal magnitude simultaneously.

A

(4)

A:- centripetal force ek inertial frame force hai or centrifugal ek non inertial frame force hai, isliye dono ek sath nhi lg sakte hai
R:- dono simultaneously nhi lgege, ek frame may ek hi force lgega, Lakin iske alwa baki Reason correct hai.

Q

A:- A fixed force is applied for certain interval of time on two bodies of different masses, initially at rest, the lighter body picks up greater speed but after time interval t, both body acquire same momentum.
R:- Same force for the same time causes the same change in momentum for different bodies.

Q

A:- The second law of motion is consistent with the first law of motion.
R:- Force is necessary for changing the direction of momentum, even if it’s magnitude is constant.

Q

A:- Buffers are provided between the bogies of a railway train.
R:- Due to buffel spring the time of impact between the bogies increases and the force acting between the bogies decreases.
