What is the maximum allowed temperature through the BDS demins?

140 ˚F


135 ˚F will shut LV‑4160 (Flash Tank Normal Level Control Valve) and Open LV-4160A (Flash Tank Bypass Level Control Valve)

Normally demins are bypassed. Used for S/U's and tube ruptures.


Note:
If Demins bypassed on CP018, LV-4160 will shut at 185 ˚F.

What is the purpose of the offline radiation monitor (RT-8043)?

Prevents discharge of contaminated BD to Neutralization Basin


Other 4 in-line monitors (RT8022-8025) detect primary → secondary leakage.

What will cause the BDS Flash Tank steam to re-align from FW HTRS 13A/13B to the main condenser?

OR

High 2 level in FW HTR 13A AND 13B


High 2 level in one FW HTR will shut isolation valve for that FW HTR but steam will still be supplied to the other FW HTR.
