Q

Which systems should you activate/deactivate before starting the GLS25 final approach?

A
  1. The “Steep Approach Mode” should be turned on when shooting an approach with a slope > 4.5°.
You can find the option to activate this mode in the “I don’t know” window, under the tab “WX/TAWS/TCAS”.
  2. The Terrain Inhibit should also be turned on to prevent unnecessary alarms going off during the descent.
