Hold 2 adjacent L.Ns, one on each hand than move them in opposite directions they never separated.

A- Lt. supra-clavicular L.Ns:
* Below diaphragm (Cancer stomach, cancer colon & hypernephroma)
* Above diaphragm (Lt. cancer breast & Lt. bronchial carcinoma)
B-Rt. Supra-clavicular L.Ns:
* Below (Bare area of liver only).
* Above (Rt. cancer breast only).
How can you DD between submandibular gland & L.Ns?
Submandibular L.Ns only rolled on lower border of mandible.
How can you DD between parotid gland & L.Ns?
It is very difficult so Biopsy must be done
What is the value of occipital L.Ns enlargement?
Enlarged with IMN (glandular fever)
* Spinal accessory L.Ns enlarged with pediculosis & frunculosis.
* Jugulo-omohyoid L.Ns enlarged with Cancer tongue.
* Jugulo-digastric L.Ns enlarged with tonsiller diseases “tonsiller L.Ns”
What is the value of epitrochlear L.Ns enlargement?
Enlarged with 2ry syphilis
Which LN enlargement means Generalized lymphadenopathy?
- Epi-trochlear LN (above medial epicondyle of humerus)
Which LN could be examined by stethoscope?
- Interbronchial LN (D’spine sign in chest)
