chronic leukemias and low grade NHL - non aggressive but cant be cured
differentiate test results
ALL:
- >20% blasts
- abnormal FBC
- anaemia
- low platelets
- WBB may be high
CLL:
- >5X10^9 lymphocytes
- Low everything else
hodgkins:
- anaemia
- high WBC + platelet
- raised ESR
high grade NHL:
- may be normal
can have cytopenia <10%
- raised LDH
low grade NHL:
- may be normal
- lymphoctosis can be seen
- cytopenias if marrow involvement
