what is a key control in comparison to the other types of controls?

• a key control helps ensure that the information is accurate, valid and complete. THe actions of doing work themselves does not ensure that, it simply is duty that the people perform
• a supporting control is when a computer produces a report but the key control is when someone reviews the report and acts on it
