Believed in the redistribution of property to resolve social inequality, would not work as would lead to social conflict and disorder as disrupting the natural equilibrium of things. Critical of land owners living off the labour of others .

Comes across as a republican who supports a mixed constitution , but a debate over whether he is a democrat or republican entirely .
