What does it mean? What is the basic rule?
A
to elongate the vowels alif (أ), yaa (ي), and wow (و) for a certain time period

How many forms does Madd have?
A
- Top to Bottom
- Right to Left
- Ending of Ayah
- Right to Left followed by Hamza
- When it is a part of the word

- Start slowing down at the end of a verse
- What should you do when you reach the end of a verse?
- By default, every ending accent is changed into a saakin.
- If it is a a double accented fatha, then the ending accent is changed to an alif.
