Q

'’Praying in a place of worship is more important than praying at home’’
Disagree point and explain one
(Praying at home)

A

P - Some may disagree because worshipping at home is more personal and private.

E - Jesus taught, ‘‘When you pray, go to your room, close the door and pray to your father, who is unseen’’ Mathew 6.5, displaying that praying is private, not public act of worship. When you pray at home you have more freedom to your surroundings and you can do it any time of the day.

Q

'’Praying in a place of worship is more important than praying at home’’
Disagree point and explain two
(Allows you to worship your own personal deity)

A

P - This is a strong point because Puja is more individual than communal - involves making personal offerings to a deity.

E - Each Hindu may have a different deity they worship - a Mandir cannot accommodate all these deities as there are over 330 million in Hinduism and the number keeps growing. Puja at home shows more devotion to your chosen deity.

Q

'’Praying in a place of worship is more important than praying at home’’
Conclusion

A

In conclusion I think praying at home would be more favourable because you don’t have to do it at a specific time. And that the fact is that God is omnipresent. Because God is everywhere, it does not matter where you are - home, a place of worship, an airport, at school - God will hear your prayer.
