TWO or more of the following symptoms:

1. Complete loss of MGB lubrication 
Mgb press warning light illuminated 
Mgb pmp main caution light illuminated 
Mgb pmp aux caution light illuminated 
Xsmn pressure at zero on VEMD
  1. Yaw kicks, abnormal mgb noises, or unusually high power requirements.
  2. GB chip warning light illuminated with a mgb chip annunciation on the VEMD caution/fuel page.

MGB FAILURE IMMINENT

Corrective Action:

  1. 200 FT CHECKLIST - COMPLETE
  2. LAND/DITCH IMMEDIATELY

1. Drop in xsmn oil pressure indicated by:
Mgb press warning light illuminated.
Low xsmn oil pressure

2. Complete loss of mgb lubrication indicated by:
Mgb press warning light illuminated.
Mgb pmp main caution light illuminated.
Mgb pmp aux caution light illuminated. 
Xsmn oil pressure at zero on VEMD.
  1. GB chip warning light illuminated with a MGB chip on the VEMD caution and fuel page.
  2. Abnormal mgb noises.

MGB MALFUNCTION

Corrective Action:

  1. Monitor for secondary indications
  2. Fly at minimum safe altitude
  3. Avoid high power maneuvers
  4. Land as soon as practicable

1. Oil temp warning light illuminated AND increase in xsmn oil temperature above 120 Celsius on the VEMD.

MGB OVERHEAT

Corrective action:

  1. Cruise airspeed - 120 KIAS minimum
  2. Land as soon as practicable

Corrective action:

  1. Monitor for secondary indications.
  2. Abort mission
