Maintenance must be transferred with the aircraft when it’s sold.
What is a type certificate data sheet?
A formal description of the aircraft, engine, or propellor.
What are aircraft specifications?
Documents that have basically the same information as the TCDS and certified under the Air Commerce Regulations.
What document specifies the type of fuel that should be used in an airplane?
The TCDS for that airplane.
What document would you use to find the control surface movement for a specified aircraft?
TCDS for that aircraft
Why is it necessary to refer to the TCDS for an airplane when conducting a 100-Hour inspection?

What is the purpose of an AD?
Provides information to owners + operators of an aircraft informing them of a condition that prevents the aircraft from meeting its airworthy conditions.

A notice of proposed rule making (NPRM) is published in the Federal Register.
How is information on an AD disseminated?
Its printed and distributed by first class mail to the registered owners and certain known operators of the affected aircraft

AD’s of urgent nature.

By first class mail, telegram, or other electronic method.

On the FFA’s website under the Dynamic Regulatory System (DRS).

Aircraft is inspected on a schedule, the schedule allows the complete inspection to be conducted over time.

Permanent records are kept for life of the aircraft & are transferred when the aircraft is sold.

Describes maintenance, preventative maintenance, rebuilding, and alterations.
