A
Testing the changes to an operational system of the impact of a changed environment to an operational system.

What can maintenance testing be triggered by?
A
Planned enhancements or upgrades to business systems. Corrective and emergency changes. Changes to an operating environment (upgrades eg). Upgrade to COTS software. Migration of applications from one platform to another. Retirement of legacy software systems.
