Q

How is CRC treated?

A

Surgery

Adjuvant chemotherapy

Benign adenomas, as well as those with severe dysplasia or carcinoma in situ (no evidence of invasive cancer, defined as invasion into the submucosa), can be effectively managed by endoscopic removal (polypectomy) alone as long as the resection margins are free of cancer.
