What is a statutory undertaker?
An organisation who is given statutory powers to enter land to lay pipes and alter existing pipes - or other infrastructure.
In this case it was under the Water Industry Act 1991.
What does Section 16 set out in Environment (Wales) Act 2016?
Provides NRW the power to enter into land management agreements and place restrictions of use on the landowner to promote the achievement of any objective it has in the exercise of its functions
What are the risks of blue-green algae?
If livestock consumes large amounts of water containing these blooms then illness or death can occur. With humans it can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and breathing difficulties.
