- If change is going to happen there needs to be an adjustment of behavior and way of thinking in employees

- it emphases the People Side of change and targets leadership within all levels of an organization including executives, senior leaders, middle managers and line supervisors

- Strong morale amount members is very important
- Teamwork is necessary
- Personal discipline of each employees ensures that team stays strong
- Suggestions of improvement for each employee
John Kotters change model
- designed for managing stress in a typical hierarchical organization
- this is where management decides on change and then tells it to employees
8 steps to John Kotters change model
- Establish a sense of urgency among employees to deal with the change
- Create a guiding coalition… management and employees ,use work together
- Create a clear vision for the business
- Communicate and explain all visions to the business.
- Give everyone a chance to speak and give feedback based on the vision
- Plan and create short term goals and success
- Consolidate all feedback..combine all improvements to produce even more change
- Anchor in the culture… and make new approaches part of the businesses stranded procedures
Kurt Lewis 3 step change model
- Unfreeze –create the right environment for people to step out of their comfort zone and be open to Change
- Change– look for news ways to do things and make changes
- Re freeze – stabilize the business and maintain all changes ensuring the change is consistent and beneficial to the business
