Thermochemical Sub-Model
A
Temperature, viscosity and degree of cure information.
Uneven degree of cure results in residual stresses in the part.
This model is used in autoclave, hot press, and filament winding processes.

Flow Sub-Model
A
Provides resin flow, fiber and resin distribution, compaction, consolidation, and bonding information.
Poor resin flow may result in parts with excess resin or dry fiber areas.
Used in autoclave processes.

Void sub-model
A
Provides void size information.
Voids are formed by air or gas bubble entrapment during the cure process and they reduce the strength of the part.
This model provides some insights to the cure cycle to reduce voids.
