How is the FFG operated?

A

manual operation open the instrument air and fuel gasvapor mixture is routed to a Mixing Nozzle at the Flame Front Generator station and manually directed to the Flare Pilot that is indicating failure. Pushbutton button on the Control Panel will be pressed, causing a spark to ignite the mixture to the Pilot.
