- vertebral pain due to sprain - lumbar vertebral pain - neck pain and rigidity - cranial enlargement - hydrocephalus

- insert 0.5-0.8 cun deep | - more effective when the needle pierces through the tendon

- between 4th and 5th metatarsal bones - 0.5 cun proximal to the web between the 4th and 5th toes - almost same point as GB 43

- contraindicated in patients with asthma, lung disease, expectoration of profuse sputum, weak constitution
