can be voted out if elected representatives fail to please a majority of people who elected them. Democratic governments are usually responsible.

an elected law-making assembly

a council appointed by the governor. It could veto any laws made by legislative assembly in 1791 BNA. They can advise the governor.

elected by voters, members known as Members of Parliament
