Polygon
A closed figure made up line segments that do not cross each other
Triangle
A polygon with 3 sides and 3 angles
Quadrilateral
A polygon that has 4 sides and 4 angles.
Like square, rectangle, trapezoid, and parallelogram
Pentagon
A polygon with 5 sides
Hexagon
A polygon with 6 sides and 6 angles
Octagon
A polygon with 8 sides
Congruent
Having the same measure
Acute triangle
A triangle with 3 acute angles, angle with a measure 0 to 90
Obtuse Triangle
A triangle with 1 obtuse angle, more then 90
Right triangle
A triangle with 1 right angle or 90 degrees
Equilateral triangle
A triangle with 3 congruent sides
Scalene triangle
A triangle with no congruent sides
Isosceles triangle
A triangle with at last 2 sides of same length
Trapezoid
A quail eternal with exactly 1 pair of parallel sides
Parallelogram
A quadrilateral with 4 sides each pair opposite sides are parallel and congruent
Rectangle
A quadrilateral with 4 right angles opposite sides are equal and parallel
Rhombus
A parallelogram with 4 congruent sides

A rectangle with 4 congruent sides

The amount of space inside a three dimensional figure
