What is the formula for finding the total interior angles in a shape
(n-2) x 180

How would you turn 0.7777 into a fraction?
Multiply by ten
Subtract original number from it.
Then divide by 9
Simplify the fraction if required.
How would you turn 0.8484848 recurring into a fraction
Multiply by 100
Take original number from it
Divide by 99.
Simplify fraction
How do you multiply decimals
Ignore decimals
Multiply as normal
Count number of digits after the point in the question
Put point in the correct place in the answer so that the number of digits match the question.
How do you find x in a linear equation?
Get x on one side and numbers on the other.
If something moves across = the sign must change to the opposite.
Group like terms and solve.
What is the best way to set out ratio questions?
In columns with title at the top.
Add a total column
What ever you do to one column do to the other.
How do you turn fraction into decimals or percentages
Make the fraction over 100.
Do the same to the bottom as the top.

How can you tell if a number is divisible by 3?
The digits add up to a multiple of three
How can you tell if a number is divisible by 7.
Double the last digit and take from the rest of the number, if the difference is a multiple of 7 it is in the 7 times table.
E.g. 455 - double 5 is 10. 45-10 =35 so 455 is multiple of 7
What is a surd?
A surd is a square root of a non-square positive integer.
It is an irrational number.
Examples include square root of 7 comma space square root of 12 comma square root of 99.
