doxycycline monohydrate or hyclate forms
sun sensitivity, take with food, don’t take meds containing FE, Mg, or Zn within 2 hours, may decrease effectiveness or oral contraceptives
Amoxicillin
may decrease effectiveness of OC
Cephalexin
do not take vitamins or meds containing Zn within 3 hours
Azithromycin
don’t take with Al or Mg containing antacids, QTc prolongation possible

orange or brown urine, don’t take Mg within 2 hours, take with food/milk to increase absorption
Metronidazole contraindication
alcohol during or 3 days after
Metronidazole
metallic taste in mouth, headache
Fluconazole
QTc prolongation possible, report skin rash to prescriber
Valacyclovir
headache, does not prevent transmission, drink lots of fluids to prevent accumulation in kidneys
