A localized collection of pus in any body part, resulting from invasion of a pyogenic bacterium or other pathogen

A painful, deep abscess of the skin involving multiple hair follicles, formed by the merger of two or more boils

Absence or loss of hair especially of the head

Result in pain and reddening of the epidermis

Affect the epidermis and the dermis
Third-degree burn
Full thickness burns
Go through dermis and affect deeper tissues; result in white or blackened charred skin
Impetigo
A scabby eruption on the skin
A contagious bacterial infection of the epidermis characterized by yellow to red, weeping and crusted or pustular lesions
Keloid
An exuberant scar that forms at the site of an injury or incision and spreads beyond the borders of the original lesion
