Pectineus
O- Pectineal line of pubis
I- Pectineal line of femur
N- Femoral and obturator nerve (dual innervation can vary)
A- Flexes and adducts thigh
Adductor Longus
O- Pubis, inferior ot pubic crest
I- Middle third of linea aspera
N- Obturator nerve
A- Adducts thigh (small flexion)
Adductor Brevis
O- Body and inferior ramus of pubis
I- Pectineal line and proximal linea aspera
N- Obturator nerve
A- Adducts thigh
Obturator Externus
O- Outer surface of obturator membrane, Bony boundaries of obutrator foramen
I- Trochanteric fossa of femur
N- Obturator nerve
A- Adduction and lateral rotation of thigh (not much leverage for adduction)
Adductor Magnus
O- Inferior ramus of pubis, ramus of ischium, ischial tuberosity
I- Adductor part: Gluteal tuberosity, linea aspera
Hamstring part: Adductor tubercle
N- Adductor: Obturator nerve
Hamstring: tibial part of sciatic nerve
A- Adductor: adducts thigh
Hamstring: extends thigh
Gracilis
O- Body and inferior ramus of pubis
I- Superior part of medial surface of tibia
N- Obturator nerve
A- Adducts thigh, flexes and medially rotates leg
