- > 5 minutes = status epilepticus
- 999, midazolam (buccally), oxygen (15 litres/min through non-rebreather mask)
Angina/MI management
Hypoglycaemia management
- Oxygen
- Oral glucose (conscious)
- 1mg Glucagon IM (unconscious) & 999
Sepsis management
999
Get to A&E
High flow oxygen
Stroke management
- Oxygen & 999
- Monitor airway
Anaphylaxis management
- Remove source
- 999
- Adrenaline IM 0.5mg
- Oxygen
- Supine
- Repeat adrenaline every 5mins
Vasovagal syncope management
Before loss of consciousness
- give dextrose gel
- supine
- low flow oxygen
After loss of conciousness
- ABCDE
- high flow oxygen
- plenty reassurance on wakening
