Discussion between two or more expert speakers about a subject which has been pre-planned, usually led by a moderator.

Shorter discuss sessions about specific subjects/aspects. Usually between a smaller group to allow greater participation for detail.

Mostly a practical meeting with the aim to improve skills or expertise. Can vary from half a day to a week in timescale. If there is more than 40% theory then it is a course/presentation.
