A
-First divisor of nucleus.
-Diploid number of chromosomes is halved and homologues pairs of chromosomes separates.

A
Second division of nucleus and sister chromosomes are separated.

What happens in each stage of meiosis 1?
A
Prophase1- Crossing over of homologous chromosomes, nuclear envelope disintegrates, chromosomes condense.
Metaphase1 - chromosomes meet at equator of cell.
Anaphase1- chromones pulled to opposite poles of cell by spindles.
Telophase1- nuclear membrane reforms, chromones uncoil and recondense.
