• PITCH . . . Pull Up
- Pull to full backstick and maintain in that position
• THRUST LEVERS . . . .TOGA
• SPEED BRAKES lever . . .Check retracted
• BANK . . . . . .WINGS LEVEL or ADJUST
- Aircraft obtain the best climb performance when the wings are as level as possible. The Flight Crew can adjust bank while climbing, provided that turning is the safest action.

Loss of Braking Memory Item

A

“LOSS OF BRAKING”

• REV . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . MAX
• BRAKE PEDALS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .RELEASE
- When the Flight Crew sets the A/SKID & N/W STRG sw to off, The control of the braking system is transferred from the BSCU to the ABCU, and the alternate braking mode is activated.
Conseqently the PF should release the brake pedals before the PM selects the A/SKID off. This action avoids brutal braking application.
• A/SKID OFF . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .ORDEROFF
- The PF orders the PM to set the A/SKID & N/W STR sw to OFF
• BRAKE PEDALS . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . PRESS

• MAX BRK PR. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1,000 PSI
- The ABCU automatically limits the brake pressure to 1,000 PSI monitor brake pressure on the BRAKE PRESS indicator.
•If STILL NO BRAKING:
PARK BRAKE . . . . . . . . . USE
- Use short successive parking brake applications to stop the aircraft.

TCAS RA Memory Item Resolution Advisory:

A

“TCAST, I HAVE CONTROL”
* AP (if engaged) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .OFF
* BOTH FDs. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .OFF
- Respond promptly and smoothly to a RA by adjusting or maintaining the pitch, as required, to reach the green area and / or avoid the red area of the vertical speed scale.
- Avoid excessive maneuvers while aiming to keep the vertical speed just outside the red area of the VSI, and within the green are. If necessary, use the full speed range between Va max and Vmax
* ATC. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .NOTIFY
Note: Respect stall, GPWS, or wind shear warning.
Do not perform a maneuver based on a TA alone.

Q

TCAS RA All RA, except any CLIMB RA during approach in CONF 3 or FULL?

A
  • AP (if engaged)……………………..OFF
  • BOTH FDs………………………………OFF
    Respond promptly and smoothly
  • VERTICAL SPEED..ADJUST or MAINTAIN
Adjust or maintain the vertical speed as required, to reach the green area and/or avoid the red area of vertical speed scale.
Note: Avoid excessive maneuvers while attempting to maintain the vertical speed just outside the red area of the vertical speed scale, and within the green area. If necessary, use the full speed range between Va max and VMAX.
    > When the “CLEAR OF CONFLICT” aural alert sounds:
    +ATC NOTIFY
    +LATERAL AND VERTICAL GUIDANCE ADJUST
  • Adjust the lateral and vertical guidance to resume normal navigation, in accordance with ATC clearance.
    + AP/FD - AS REQUIRED
    If necessary, reengage the AP/FD

Q

TCAS RA Any CLIMB RA during approach in CONF 3 or FULL

A
  • GO-AROUND………….PERFORM
    Follow the SRS GA mode
  • VERTICAL SPEED……..MONITOR
Check that the vertical speed remains out of the red area of the vertical speed scale and take over if necessary.
Respect stall, GPWS, or wind shear warnings.
  • ATC…………………………NOTIFY

> When the “CLEAR OF CONFLICT” aural alert sounds:
+ATC NOTIFY
+LATERAL AND VERTICAL GUIDANCE ADJUST
- Adjust the lateral and vertical guidance to resume normal navigation, in accordance with ATC clearance.

Q

Stall Recovery

A

Nose down pitch control……Apply
This will reduce angle of attack
Note: In the case of lack of pitch down authority, reducing thrust may be necessary.
Bank………………………………..Wings Level
When out of stall (no longer stall indication)
Thrust……Increase Smoothly as Needed
Note: In the case of one engine inoperative, progressively compensate the thrust asymmetry with rudder.
Speedbrake…………Check Retracted
Flight Path…………..Recover Smoothly
If in clean configuration and below 20,000ft
Flaps 1 ………….Select
Note: If a risk of ground contact exists, once clearly out of stall (no longer stall indications), establish smoothly a positive climb gradient.

Q

Windshear Warning - Reactive Windshear

A

At Takeoff:
During the takeoff roll “WINDSHEAR, WINDSHEAR, WINDSHEAR” alert is inhibited. Windshear recognition is based on the flight crew
Before V1:
If there are significant variations in airspeed, and in airspeed trend below the indicated V1, reject the takeoff
After V1:
THE LEVELS……..TOGA
REACHING……….ROTATE
SRS ORDERS…….FOLLOW
If necessary the flight crew may apply full backstick.
Note: If the FD bars are not displayed, move toward an initial pitch attitude of 17.5 then, if necessary, to prevent a loss of attitude increase the pitch attitude
When airborne, during initial climb, or at Landing:
THR LEVERS AT TOGA…….SET OR CONFIRM
AP (if engaged)……………KEEP ON
SRS…………….FOLLOW
If necessary the flight crew may apply full backstick.
Note: 1 The autopilot disengage if the angle of attack value goes above alpha port.
2. If the FD bars are not displayed move toward an initial pitch attitude of 17.5 then if necessary to prevent a loss of altitude increase the pitch attitude.
DO NOT CHANGE CONFIGURATION (SLATS/FLAPS,GEAR) UNTIL OUT OF WINDSHEAR
CAREFULLY MONITOR FLIGHT PATH AND SPEED
WHWN OUT OF WINDSHEAR SMOOTHLY RECOVER NORMAL CLIMB
