Post-Shutdown Engine Tail Pipe Fire Proc

Engine ITT exceeds 250 °C and ITT is rising rapidly or flame is reported at engine tailpipe:

A

CAUTION: Do not pull the discharge handle as this would prevent the cranking process.

(1) Affected ENGINE RUN…….. OFF Bleed air is available:
(2) ENGINE START…………………L (R) CRANK until ITT is 150 °C or less, or flame at engine tailpipe is reported out, or starter limit. Bleed air is unavailable or tail pipe fire indications persist:
(3) Emergency Evacuation Procedure…………………..ACCOMPLISH (See EMER 6−2)
