- EGPWS
“PULL UP TOGA”
1.AP - OFF
2.PITCH - PULL UP
•Full Back Stick
3.THR LEVERS - TOGA
4.SPD BRKS Lever-Check Retracted
5.BANK - WINGS LEVEL / ADJUST
- “EMARGENCY DESCENT”
“EMERGENCY DESCENT”
OXY MASK - ON PF: ALT, HDG, Speed-Set, Read FMA SPD BRK - FULL If A/THR is not active-THR LEVERS IDLE PM: SIGNS - ON ENG MODE SELECTOR - IGN ATC - MAYDAY/7700 PAX OXY MASK - ON (if CAB ALT is above 14000ft)
3.Unreliable A/S Indication
"UNRELIABLE SPEED" AP/FDs & A/THR -OFF PITCH/THRUST: •Below ACC - 15*/TOGA •Above ACC & Below FL100 - 10*/CLB •Above ACC & Above FL100 - 5*/CLB •FLAPS-MAINTAIN CURRENT CONFIG •FLAPS if CONF FULL select CONF 3 •SPD BRKS-CHCK RETRCTD •L/G - UP When at or above MSA or Circuit ALT: Level off for troubleshooting
- “LOSS OF BRAKING”
“Loss of Braking”
- Reverser: Max
- Brake Pedals: Release
- A/SKID & NWS: Off
- Brake Pedals: Press
- MAX BRK PR: 1,000 psi
If still no braking: - Parking Brake: Short Inputs
(will have about seven applications).
- “STALL RECOVERY”
“STALL, I have control”
- Nose Down and Wings Level.
- Out of stall: Increase Power smoothly
- Speedbrakes Retracted.
- Flight Path: Recover Smoothly
- If in Clean Config and below FL200: Flaps 1.
6.Stall Recovery at Lift-Off
“STALL, TOGA 15*
- Thrust TOGA
- Pitch for 15
- Wings Level
- TCAS
At TA: "TCAS, I have control" At RA: A/P OFF - FDs OFF •Follow The TCAS •Notify ATC •If on Final Approach and RA "CLIMB" or "INCREASE CLIMB" is triggered must perform GO AROUND...
Avoid excessive maneuver.
Respect stall, GPWS, or Windshear warning
•When “CLEAR OF CONFLICT”resume NAV, AP/FDs ON
8.b Windshear-Airborne/Initial CL/Landing
“Windshear TOGA”
- TOGA
- Keep A\P if engaged
- Do not change CONFIG (slats,flaps,L\G) until out of shear
- Follow SRS Order (FD)
* If FD not displayed: initial pitch 17.5 (if necessary to prevent loss of altitude, increase pitch attitude).
PM: reads out the W/C.
When out of shear: do whatever it takes to not get into Overspeed (clean the a\c, thrust idle, pitch up).
9.a Windshear Ahead (RED,Before Takeoff)
Delay Takeoff
-OR-
Select most favorable runway
9.b Windshear Ahead (RED,During Takeoff Run)
“Stop”
Reject Takeoff
PF:
- REV Max
- Upon stopping with PRK BRK ON: “Attention Cabin Crew at Station”
PM:
- Silence Warning
- Monitor DECEL
- Advise ATC “rejected takeoff”
- Prepare EMER EVAC c/l upon parking brake set
9.c Windshear Ahead (RED,Airborne)
- TOGA
- Slats, Flaps can be changed as long as W/S not entered
- AP if on keep ON
- SRS ORDER follow
if necessary, may pull sidestick fully back
9.d Windshear Ahead (RED,Landing)
"Go-Around, Flaps" Retract Flaps 1 step "positive climb" --> "Gear Up" If AP on, keep on. If no FD, pitch for 17.5 increasing in pitch if necessary.
9.e Windshear Ahead (Amber, Before Takeoff)
Delay takeoff until conditions improve. Evaluate t/o conditions Wx Radar, most favorable r/w TOGA for t/o monitor a/s and a/s trend closely during t/o for early signs of w/s.
9.f Windshear Ahead (Amber,Approach)
Delay Landing or Divert
select favorable r/w (most appropriate approach aid)-ILS with A/P
Flaps 3
Managed SPD in Appr Phase
note: x-wind greater than 20 kts, Vapp Det w/out Failure
8.a Windshear-After V1
“WINDSHEAR TOGA”
- TOGA
- Vr: Rotate
- Follow SRS Order (FD)
* If FD not displayed: initial pitch 17.5 (if necessary to prevent loss of altitude, increase pitch attitude).
PM: reads out the W/C.
When out of shear: do whatever it takes to not get into Overspeed (clean the a\c, thrust idle, pitch up).
