Paging is a technique used by a computer system to manage virtual memory. It allows the OS to move pages of memory between RAM and the hard drive as needed to free up physical memory.

A
Thrashing is a condition that occurs when the OS takes too much time and resources moving pages of memory between the RAM and the hard drive.
