Causes egg to be released (ovulation)

A
Maintain the uterus lining

What is the stages of menstrual cycle
A
-(FSH) is released by pituitary gland
(master gland )
- Fsh travels in the blood to ovaries to cause egg to mature
- fsh triggers ovaries to make oestrogen
- oestrogen makes uterus lining thick and cause Fsh from being released
- master gland produced (LH)
- LH causes egg to be released
- ovaries now produce progesterone
If egg isn’t fertilised then woman has period
