Q

what is the central governor model?

A

brain sees feedback from peripheral state and makes sure we don’t over exercise.
brain determines pace and speed if we want to achieve a specific time
brain is involved in exercise

Q

what is the psychobiological model?

A

brain regulates endurance exercise, regulated by perception of effort, fatigue is a response to a high perception of effort
the anterior cingulate cortex regulates HR, BR and is more active during mental tasks

Q

what is the strength control model?

A

the more self control is exerted the more fatigue it becomes impacting on subsequent events which also require self control resources, has been applied to the control of effort over exercise
