A
Merton ignores crimes of
wealthy and over-predicts the amount of working-class crime.
3
Q
weakness: utiliatarian crimes
A
Merton focuses on utilitarian
crimes, for example, theft – ignoring crimes with no economic motive, for example, vandalism.
