ARFOR issue times
Issued daily between 1730 and 1810 And between 2330 and 0010. One hour earlier during NZDT
State TAF issue times for domestic aerodromes and Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch aerodromes.
Tafs issued for domestic between 1430 - 1630 and between 2130 - 2215 daily and 0200-0245 as required for some aerodromes.
TAF for Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch are valid for 24 hours commencing 0000, 0600, 1200, 1800 UTC daily
METAR and SPECI issue times
METARS Issued hourly on the hour.
SPECI issued off the hour when weather changes significantly
METAR AUTO
Produced every half hour on the hour and half hour.
No SPECI provided
Will not include cloud type
TREND
TRENDs indicate when significant changes to occur during the next two hours. The TREND replaces the TAF during the validity time
