A
  1. Increased HCO3: VOMITING, Gastric Suctioning, Hypokalemia
  2. Increased Loss of Acids or Excretion: Excessive HCO3 ingestion (TUMS or Baking Soda), Diuretic Use, Gastric Suctioning.
