Q

What is welding?

A
  • Welding fuses together metals at a very high temperature
    1) High heat melts the bases material
    2) Metal filler (welding rod) is melted to fill the joint
    3) Once the parts cool down, they are fused together which creates a very strong joint

P.S - Spot welding is a quick version of welding

17
Q

What are the properties of cast Iron?

A
  • Hard
  • Brittle
  • Resistant to deformation and rust
