Epiphany
The appearance of a symbol within a story. Revealing it.

General attitude of a piece of literature.

Beginning in the middle.
Eponym/kafkaesque
Words derived from the names of actual or fictional people.
Surrealism
Power of imagination and dreams over conscious control.
Motif
Recurring subject, theme, or idea.
Foreshadowing
Author giving hints on what is going to happen next.
Freudianism
Belief that every human action is influence by the unconscious mind.
Mood
Distinctive emotional quality or character.
