What is an adjective??
A word that describes an animal, a person, thing, or thought.

A word that tells us more about a verb.
What is a preposition??
A word used before a noun, connecting it to another word (in, at, of, before, since)
What is a possessive pronoun??
Pronoun used to express possessiveness (my pen, your dog)
What is a proper noun??
Words that is the name of a particular person place or thing
What is a clause?
A group of words that include a subject and a verb to form a sentence or part of a sentence. Smallest grammatical unit that expresses thought

Taking someone into custody in a manner authorized by law.
Assault?
Unlawfully attempting to use force against another person; putting them in apprehension of bodily harm.
Battery?
Unlawful use of force or violence against another.
Felony ?
Punishable by death or imprisonment in state penitentiary.
Gross misdemeanor?
Max $2,000 fine +/- one year county lockup.
Misdemeanor??
Max fine if $1,000 +/- 6 months in county lockup.
Corpus Delicti??
The fundamental facts needed to prove a crime.
Crime?
Act or omissions forbidden by law.
