Stains for evaluating for lobular neoplasia

E-cadherin
p120 catenin
Membranous p120 catenin is seen in normal epithelial cells, but in lobular neoplasia (and other E-cad deficient neoplastic cells) p120 will be diffusely cytoplasmic.
p120 in ALH (with lobular neoplastic cells and normal ductal cells) is shown.

Prognosis for male breast cancer
A
When corrected for stage, the prognosis is the same.
Male breast cancer is, however, more likely to be estrogen and progesterone receptor positive.
