What does the eyepiece lense do?
A
it magnifies the specimen.

A
magnify the specimen more and allow the magnification to be altered.

A

A
it supports the slide with the specimen

they move the stage up and down to adjust the focus

What are the steps to using a microscope?
A
- secure slide on the stage with clips. The specimen side is facing UP
- Look through the eyepiece and adjust focus.
- Increase magnification by rotating the nosepiece to switch between lenses.
